Back in 2014, my art director and I got a brief to make an in-store poster for kitten food.
We made this…
Fine. Cute. Not exactly earth shattering.
But, a few years later, something happened that changed our lives forever.
A self help man with a questionable moustache found it, cropped the logo, turned it into a gif, and posted it on his Facebook with a very inspiring caption.
And then something even better happened.
Britney Spears posted it with an even better caption.
Her fan ‘dav3y’ was very into it.
After that, NFL mega star Odell Beckham Jr posted it.
Then this sort of stuff started happening…
Quite a bit.
It turns out a lot of people wanted our shelf wobbler artwork on their calves forever.
Some changed the fur, but we could still tell.
Then people started decorating their homes with our ‘wall art home decor’.
And drinking from it.
And then people made confusing 90’s-sitcom-pandemic-health-care-wear
So now, whenever I wonder if I should believe in myself, I remember Walmart Canada does.
They turned our in-store cat food ad into a 4-piece bathroom set incl. “toilet mat rug” for just $41.39.

2024 Update: Disney just released their poster for the live action Lion King sequel, Mufasa.
And to be honest, i think our eye line was more accurate.
